System Engineer (m/f)
Located in Bissen/Luxembourg
Your responsibilities would include:
- Being the technical lead for different disciplines and align them to achieve project milestones (software, hardware, testing, production)
- First point of contact with customers, defining and clarifying technical topics
- Translating customer specifications into IEE system requirements
- Carrying out system and performance modeling, identifying risks, defining solutions to mitigate the risk
- Building system architecture and partitioning into subsystems
- Leading product validation activities together with the testing department
- Performing calculations, writing reports
- Constant communication with team members
You would need to meet the following requirements:
- Academic degree in electrical engineering, computer science, physics or similar
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience preferably in an automotive environment
- A good knowledge of the physics relating to capacitive measurement
- Considerable know-how in electronics development (hardware and software)
- The ability to identify technical risks
- The ability to write clear documentation
- A good knowledge of Microsoft Office, DOORS and Matlab/Simulink
- Following topics are considered an asset:
- Hands-on experience with functional safety analyses and cyber security
- Knowledge of automotive SPICE processes
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Fluency in English (spoken and written), German or French is considered an asset
