Our client, a European institution, is looking for a back office analyst who speaks English fluently. This is a temporary job. The job starts as soon as possible.
The candidate's responsibilities are :
- Overseeing the development and performance of IT tools, reporting issues, and participating in testing IT upgrades to ensure the integrity of FK data and processes.
- Analysing and resolving possible issues arising from settlement failures to minimise settlement claims and overdraft costs.
- Continuously improving and fine-tuning operations and procedures as required.
- Guiding and supporting the resolution of issues through coordination and collaboration with all stakeholders.
- Conducting appropriate checks on all treasury transactions before sending out confirmation and settlement messages.
- Executing Back-Office processes related to the control and validation of data in the borrowing and derivatives database.
- Overseeing and monitoring settlement of securities.
- Managing SWIFT payment messages of various types in both MT and MX formats.
The suitable candidate has :
- A university degree preferably in a business related field (Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, IT, mathematics, engineering).
- An additional relevant postgraduate studies or professional qualification in finance.
- A prior experience in a Banking or Financial or Project Manager field, and he should be able to work independently and keen to learn.
- At least 3 years of experience in Project Management or at least 3 years of experience as an officer in a Back or Middle Office in a financial institution.
