As a Project Manager – Education for Sustainable Development, you will be responsible for the design, planning, coordination and implementation of innovative educational projects in the field of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD).
You will manage complex projects from initial concept to implementation and follow-up, working closely with internal and external partners.
The position requires strong conceptual, organisational and communication skills as well as the ability to independently manage projects involving multiple stakeholders. You will contribute to the development of pedagogical concepts, strategies and implementation scenarios and support the division in translating strategic priorities into concrete educational initiatives.
Missions
- Project management: Independently leading and managing innovation projects mainly in the field of Education for Sustainable Development, from conceptualisation and planning through implementation, monitoring and follow-up ;
- Project planning and monitoring: Developing project plans and coordinating timelines, resources, deliverables and quality assurance to ensure effective and timely implementation ;
- Concept and strategy development: Developing pedagogical concepts, strategies and implementation scenarios for national educational projects and initiatives ;
- Coordination and collaboration: Coordinating and moderating working groups and project teams and fostering effective collaboration with internal and external partners at national and international level ;
- Communication and reporting: Preparing project reports, decision notes, presentations and communication materials for different audiences and stakeholders ;
- Cross-project contribution: Contributing to other innovation projects and cross-departmental initiatives of the division, providing project management, conceptual and editorial support where required.
Profil
Compétences techniques
- Strong project management and organisational skills, including the ability to plan, coordinate, monitor and deliver complex projects ;
- Strong analytical, strategic and conceptual thinking skills ;
- Ability to translate strategic objectives into concrete concepts, project plans and implementation scenarios ;
- Ability to coordinate projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders ;
- Excellent writing and editorial skills, with the ability to draft, edit, proofread and finalise high-quality professional documents for different audiences ;
- Strong communication, facilitation and presentation skills ;
- Good understanding of educational innovation and current developments in Education for Sustainable Development ;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in at least two of the administrative languages of Luxembourg (Luxembourgish, French and German). Proficiency in English is an advantage.

- Familiarity with Luxembourg’s education system.
Conditions d’admission
Ce poste peut être pourvu sous le statut de fonctionnaire de l'État ou d'employé de l'État. Niveau d’études
Vous êtes titulaire d’un grade ou diplôme délivré par un établissement d’enseignement supérieur reconnu par l’État du siège de l’établissement et sanctionnant l’accomplissement avec succès d’un master dans un domaine pertinent, tel que l’éducation, les sciences de l’éducation, le développement durable, les sciences de l’environnement, les sciences sociales, la gestion de projets ou un domaine connexe.
Le grade ou diplôme requis doit correspondre au moins au niveau 7 tel que défini par le Cadre luxembourgeois des qualifications.
Expérience
Vous avez une expérience d'au moins 3 ans dans le domaine.
Langues
Vous devez remplir les conditions générales de connaissance des trois langues administratives. Ces conditions ne s'appliquent pas dans le cadre d'un changement d'administration.
Nationalité
Vous êtes ressortissant d’un État membre de l’Union européenne.
