Your tasks
As a Functional Analyst SAP Digital Finance, you´ll be essential part of our team, ensuring high-quality support and cost-efficiency. Your expertise will drive to success as you analyze user requirements, collaborate with Business and IT, and oversee implementation processes. You’ll cover a wide variety of tasks:
- You analyse SAP S/4HANA Finance optimised and innovation-oriented business processes and impacts/changes to existing functionalities in Financial accounting, Management accounting and Treasury
- You support the business in user requirements definitions through rapid prototyping using Design thinking principles
- You implement the changes in collaboration with business and other IT stakeholders while respecting simplicity and standardisation in solution architecture
- You manage user centric prototype development with developers and facilitate decision making with business owners, through agile principles
- You assist the IT business representatives with the prioritization of changes/innovations and the proper planning with release & test management
- You continuously follow SAP innovation delivered through quarterly release cycles
- You participate to the migration project of our current SAP ECC6 systems to the next generation SAP S/4 Finance system
- You handle daily support (changes/incidents) of our current SAP ECC6 and in our new SAP S/4HANA Finance environment.
- You ensure the preparation and the execution of workshops and training of the key end-user
Your profile
- University degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Economics or other related field
- Knowledge of accounting and controlling principles and/or a strong interest to develop yourself in the financial area are essential
- Proven experience of at least 3 years in an enterprise running a reference ERP system either in the IT support department or as a key user in the finance department
- Practical knowledge of agile and design thinking principles is considered an asset
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Quick-learner and result-orientated person, with high ability to prioritize and manage multiple activities
- Proactive team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and French are mandatory; Knowledge of German and Luxemburgish will be considered as an advantage
