Due to our continuous expansion, CLdN IT Systems SA is looking for a System Administrator to reinforce the IT Support & Project Services team for our headquarter in Luxembourg (Grand Duchy of Luxembourg).

Function
As an IT System Administrator, in collaboration with the IT team, you maintain, upgrade and manage our software, hardware and networks. You will be able to diagnose and resolve incidents quickly and share investigation on problems as well as participating on projects.Â

Your goal will be to ensure that our Infrastructure hosted in 2 data centers in Luxemburg as well as our 20 remote sites in Western Europe serving more than 1400 users can run continuously, smoothly and efficiently.

Your role
Within this challenging role, you will execute the following tasks:
- Interfacing with end users for incidents and requests (telephone, mail, chat)
- Troubleshoot issues and ensure security
- Install and configure software and hardware
- Upgrade systems and release application packages
- Set up and manage accounts and workstations
- Monitor and maintain systems
- Control and manage network servers
- Liaise with System Engineers
- Share activities on projects
- Train internal staff when required
- Assist with manuals and IT policies
- Create and maintain script in PowerShell, Python, Perl or other languages

Skills
We are looking for a person with a proven experience as an IT System Administrator or similar role with thorough understanding of infrastructure and workplace equipment and also have crossed experiences in relevant environments as following:

Your profile:
- You have very good interpersonal and organizational skills (integrity, respect for confidentiality, sound judgment and decision-making) and are stress resistant.
- You have strong written and oral communications skills in English, like to work in an international environment and be effective in crossing country-specific cultural divides.
- You are proactive and are able to perform to a high level of quality and responsibility at all times.
- You have a significant experience up to 5 years in a similar function managing medium to large environment around datacentres and Wan/Lan-networks.
- You hold a degree in IT with professional certification (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)) is a plus.
