Within this function, you will be part of a multitasking HR team and provide daily support to management and employees. You will work within a central HR platform, ensuring consistent HR processes and procedures and be a key point of contact for both local management and staff as well as operational companies located abroad (Portugal, Spain, Poland, …).
You will be responsible for the following activities:
- Prepare employment contracts, contract addenda, work certificates and other HR-related documents.
- Provide support to employees on various HR-related topics, including leave management, compensation, absence management, and other day-to-day HR matters.
- Prepare monthly the payroll process.
- Support the HR team in its daily administrative operations.
- Provide legal guidance on daily HR matters, in line with Luxembourg or international labor law.
- Provide day-to-day support to management and employees regarding employee relations, performance matters and workplace behavior.
- Assist in reviewing and updating HR concepts, procedures and policies.
- Support and conduct employee onboarding activities.
- Maintain employee files and records.
- Follow up on training activities and training reimbursements.
- Contribute to various HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Your profile
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in an HR generalist role.
- Good knowledge of the Luxembourg social security system and labor law.
- Good knowledge of payroll administration and familiarity with specific tax matters related to cross-border commuters.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; other languages will be considered as an asset.
- Good command of MS Office.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously.
- Pragmatic, proactive, flexible, reliable and well-organized.
