Business Applications Administrator Trainee (M/F)

Cebi International S.A., the mother company of the group based in the same premises as Cebi Luxembourg S.A., is looking for an IT Business Applications Administrator for its IT department.
Your Mission:
The business Applications Administrator assists in managing business applications from an IT perspective.
He collaborates with the business, the IT Infrastructure department and the software providers for all IT related topics.
The Trainee will help with the administration of business applications and support end-users across the global Cebi organization.
- Assist in integrating the software applications in the IT architecture ( installation , performance, security, backup…) with the support of the Business Applications team
- Monitor the applications, document and analyze problems
- Help plan, coordinate, test and communicate application upgrades, maintenance and changes
- Support, maintain, and administer business applications under supervision
- Work closely with the Application Owners to help, maintain and improve the business applications
- Collaborate with the corporate Information Security Manager to ensure compliance with information security standards and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) EU 2016/679
- Manage user accounts and access rights
- Administrate the application-related databases
- Perform some small developments to provide additional features to existing applications
- Assist in executing new projects under the Project Manager’s guidance
- Provide level 2 support (level 1 support performed by the local Key users)
- Coordinate level 3 support (represented by the software providers)
- Help manage risks, issues and opportunities
- Maintain all documentation related to the application installation, administration, support and projects.
Your Profile:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Knowledge in software development and functional analysis
- Basic knowledge in database administration
- Basic knowledge in operating systems (Windows and Linux)
- Basic knowledge in cloud computing
- Able to provide customer service and work well with diverse stakeholders
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Self‐motivated, able to work independently and takes initiative
- Ability to multitask in a fast‐paced environment
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new skills quickly
- Professional attitude and work habits
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Languages : English and French required
