TASK RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintaining and enhancing the Emergency Response processes and procedures to comply with IOSA/ICAO/EASA, recommended practices & standards and company requirements
- Continuous improvement of the organization wide Business Continuity Plan focused on the tasks of the AOC and coordinated with the Corporate Business Continuity Plan
- Monitoring of system-wide implementation and compliance, of emergency / crisis processes
- Oversight for the design, development and delivery of all required BCM/ER training programs
- Management and liaison between departments to ensure preparedness and compliance
- Research, review and evaluation of external source materials
- Ensure emergency operations preparedness of Cargolux areas and out-stations including coordination of Emergency Response planning with local authorities and destination airports
- Develop and conduct company-wide drills to test the developed procedures
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Aviation Safety, Aviation Management, Emergency Management, Disaster Management/Recovery, Business Continuity or equivalent
- At least 3 years of working experience in a business continuity / resilience related position
- Previous experience in Aviation required
- Trained and qualified in Emergency Response is considered as an advantage
- Results-oriented person with strong delivery focus

- Strong verbal and written communication skills at all levels
- Ability for analytical thinking and problem-solving
- Experience writing manuals / guidance material
- Excellent Presentation Skills

- Be willing to undertake any training necessary to keep on top of current employment legislation
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook)
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Position based in Luxembourg
- Frequent travel (with little notice) required within the entire Cargolux network
- Stand-by or on call may be required
- A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection
- Reporting to the Accountable Manager of Cargolux
