FundPartner Solutions provides a full suite of fund administration and private label funds services. The global team of industry experts specialises in fund domiciliation, registration and governance, as well as risk compliance and investment management services.
Technology & Operations design and integrate software applications ranging from portfolio management systems, trading platforms to banking and corporate solutions. The division is responsible for some of the Group’s key innovations while sustaining business operations and developing custodian and funds administration services.
PETAL is the center of excellence of Private Assets Operations within the Pictet Group. It aims at servicing all Private Assets operations across Business Lines and covers the different Private Assets invested by our Business Lines. PETAL ensures smooth coordination of Private Assets Operations with the front lines as well as the Bank’s Custody Services. PETAL activities cover Middle Office activities, back office administration activities in coordination with the Custody Bank, as well as Fund Accounting, Transfer Agency and Valuer activities for PERE Funds.
Private Assets Risk and Operations Manager is a new role within the Private Assets Fund Administration department, which will focus on operational controls and operational support on an ad hoc basis. As a Private Risk and Operations Manager, you will have a transversal position, across all Private Assets processes of the Pictet Group, ensuring our operational processes remain robust, upgrading our processes front to back and driving transformation of our operations.
Your role
- Reviewing and upgrading the Private Asset L1 Risk and control framework : from design to implementation
- Participating or leading operational transformation projects within the Private Assets Operations platform
- Leading the “Front to back” process re-engineering initiatives with the different Business Lines of the Group
- Designing and delivering new controls and procedures in response to regulatory changes/changes to internal processes, feedback from the business and to address system changes.
- Completing independent control activities on a daily basis or regular intervals.
- Defining and producing appropriate KPI/KRI-related reports at pre-defined intervals.
- Report to Top Management on Risk and Operations quality and evolutions.
Your profile
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in Private Assets in a Big Four, Central Administration or AIFM
- A good understanding of operational risks and the internal controls appropriate to financial services
- Good organizational skills and a focus on detail with an analytical mind-set
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Ability to report efficiently and with impact to Top Management
- Fluent in English and French; any other language would be an asset
- Proficient user of MS Office suite, capabilities in data analytics tools
- Client oriented
- Great integrity
- Outstanding communication skills (with clients inside and outside the Bank) and excellent interpersonal skills
