Our client is a well-established AIFM based in Luxembourg, part of an international group headquartered in Italy. To support its continued growth, the company is looking for an Assistant Finance Manager to oversee the group's finance, accounting and administrative activities while acting as the right hand of the CEO.
This position offers a unique combination of operational accounting, financial management and leadership responsibilities within a collaborative environment where your contribution will be highly visible.
Your responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the accounting cycle for several group entities, primarily holding companies, from bookkeeping through to year-end financial statements.
- Manage monthly and annual closings while ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial information.
- Prepare financial reports and provide meaningful analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Oversee treasury activities, monitor cash flow and optimise liquidity across the group.
- Participate in budgeting processes, analyse financial performance and implement relevant KPIs.
- Coordinate external audits and ensure compliance with Luxembourg accounting and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise administrative matters, including legal documentation, insurance and corporate administration.
- Manage, coach and support a team of accountants.
Your profile
- You have at least 6 years of experience in accounting or finance within Luxembourg, ideally gained in an AIFM, fund administrator or investment management environment.
- You possess strong technical accounting skills, including financial reporting, year-end closings, treasury management and audit coordination.
- Experience with holding companies is essential, while exposure to fund administration would be considered a strong asset.
- You are fluent in French and have a good command of English, allowing you to communicate confidently with the Italian headquarters. Knowledge of Italian would be a advantage.
