Cash Collection Officer (CDD 12 months)
Your role:
As a member of the Finance & Accounting team, you will play a key role in supporting the firm’s cash flow performance through proactive client follow-up, close collaboration with partners and effective relationship management by monitoring client receivables, conducting follow‑ups on overdue balances, resolving billing issues, and maintaining accurate reporting. The role requires a strong emphasis on partner interaction, ownership of collection discussions, and constructive engagement with clients, ensuring that outstanding matters are addressed while preserving long-term relationships and client satisfaction.

Accounts Receivable & Collection Activities
- Actively engage with clients to follow up on outstanding balances, facilitating timely approval and settlement of invoices.
- Lead or support cash collection discussions in partner meetings, providing clear status updates and proposed actions.
- Identify and engage the appropriate client stakeholders to ensure efficient communication and resolution.
Billing & Issue Resolution
- Investigate billing discrepancies using historical data, supporting documentation, and matter-level information.
- Work closely with partners and internal teams to resolve billing queries and disputes, ensuring a consistent and professional client experience.
- Coordinate with partners on escalated matters, including formal recovery processes where required.
Financial Documentation, Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare and present accounts receivable overviews and cash collection updates for partner discussions and management review.
- Provide action-oriented insights on overdue balances, highlighting risks, trends, and recommended next steps.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive client collection records, including communication tracking and audit-ready documentation.
Profile & Competencies
- Proven experience in accounts receivable, cash collection, and financial analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable messaging for partners and clients.
- Advanced Excel skills (formulas, dashboards, data analysis); experience with Power BI is an asset.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence in interacting with partners and clients.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
