Part-Time Accountant – Investment Firm in Kirchberg, Small Team

An investment company is currently seeking a Senior Accountant to work part-time at their office based in Kirchberg. This structure is currently in a full growth and looking for a versatile Accountant with independent and practical skills.

This entity is mainly investing in the Real Estate sector, with many buildings and hotels based in Europe and abroad. The office in Luxembourg is here to take care of propcos and holdings companies. A friendly and relaxed atmosphere is a very positive aspect of this structure, also in place because of the human-sized team (8 people).

The team is composed of a lawyer, an accountant, several administrative assistants, and one person specialized in financial controlling. In addition, two managers are leading the office and the team. Everybody is very independent in this company and there is absolutely no micromanagement.  

Your Responsibilities | Investment Firm – Investment Company – Finance

• You are handling accounting entries and you prepare and review annual accounts.
• You work with a portfolio composed of propcos and holdings.
• You are in charge of cash management and a few internal accounting.
• You review some tax returns but you do not have to prepare them, as a tax specialist is also working in the group.
• You are a team player and you work in team as well as you are able to work perfectly independently.
  
  

Profile and Career Path | Accounting – Accountancy – Tax

• You are fluent in English and you also have, at least, an intermediate level in German (B1 or more).
• You have more than 5 years of experience in a similar company, in the Real Estate sector ideally. An experience within a Big Four or a fiduciary / PFS should also be relevant for our client.
• You are currently looking for a part-time contract, as this company does not offer a full-time contract.
• You ideally have a stable career path as there is no staff turn-over in this structure.
  
  

Offer | Real Estate – Comptabilité – Luxembourg – Service Provider

• Your salary will be up to €85.000 gross per year (full-time basis). This maximum budget will be attributed to a profile who is fluent in English and German, specialized in Real Estate, with many years of experience, for example 15 to 20 years.
• Furthermore, you will benefit from meal vouchers and from a discretionary bonus. Additional holidays will be retributed to allow more flexibility and time with your family.
• You will have the possibility to work in a small firm, with open-minded managers and colleagues. However, the group has an international influence and is currently growing with investments in the entire world.
• You will benefit, in addition to the part-time, from flexible working hours, homeworking policy (up to 2 days per week if you live in Luxembourg), and flexible supervisors.
• Finally, working inhouse will allow you being more involved with a client, without timesheet, and also with a better communication with your managers.
