We have the great pleasure to assist one of Luxembourg’s leading law firms in its search for an Associate for the Investment fund department. The investment fund team is led by skilled Partners with over 10 years of experience, who are assisted by several Senior Associates, so you are sure to be accompanied at all times in your development.

With offices in Luxembourg and abroad, the law firm provides a real expertise in several domains such as Investment funds, Corporate M&A, Banking & Finance and more. This is why the firm in Luxembourg regroups more than 50 team members today, and the teams are very stable and no one is treated “just like a number”. To reinforce this cohesion, team activities are organized from time to time such as a barbeque, Christmas dinner or sports activity.

The law firm looks for entrepreneurial people who want to help grow the department and who have ambitions to grow. That is why you will not spend years upon years before having recognition or evolving within the law firm.

Furthermore, to organize your professional and personal schedule the best way possible, you will have the possibility to work from home on a weekly basis.

Your Responsibilities | (Junior) Associate Funds – Investment Funds – Law - Legal

• You handle the set-up, restructuring and liquidation of investment funds and handle the entire life cycle in close collaboration with the Senior Associates and Partners.
• You draft the necessary legal documentation, again with close assistance from your more experienced colleagues.
• You will work on a variety of Alternative Investment Funds in several investment strategies and UCITS.
• You will of course be assisted by the Partners of the team who are happy to share their knowledge with the less experienced members of their team.
  
  

Profile and Career Path | (Junior) Associate Funds – Investment Funds – Law - Legal

• You have at least 1 year of experience as a (Junior) Associate in the investment fund department of a Law Firm in Luxembourg. More experience will be considered as a plus. However, we are not looking for a profile close to Senior as you probably will not evolve to that level before at least 2 years if you already have some experience.
• You have obtained the CCDL and are either registered to the Bar or able to register, ideally on List II or IV.
• Fluency in English is mandatory whereas knowledge of French will be considered an advantage.
• You would describe yourself as proactive, dynamic and entrepreneurial in the sense that you will, for example, always try to find a solution or even ask questions when you need help.
• You have already developed quite a good understanding of the investment fund industry in Luxembourg.

• This law firm is located in a very modern building in Luxembourg City, which is quite easily accessible by public transport and by car. Parking is made available as well.
• Regular team buildings take place such as a summer barbeque, Christmas dinner or other activity to further reinforce the strong relationships in the team. This certainly also participates to the fact that the teams are stable.
• Financially, you can count on a salary of up to €110.000 gross per year (depending on your experience).You will also benefit from a bonus.
