Stellenbeschreibung

Aufgaben

The MaRisk Compliance Officer will be responsible for the Compliance Function in accordance with AT 4.4.2 MaRisk (BaFin circular “minimum requirements for risk management”) for ODDO BHF SE’s branch in France.

• Implement and develop the MaRisk Compliance Management System for the branch in collaboration with the Group Head of MaRisk Compliance (e.g. methods and instruments, compliance and risk culture, investor protection, code of conduct etc.)
• Identify new applicable laws and regulations for the branch (regulatory monitoring) on a regular basis
• Analyze the materiality and risk of applicable laws and regulations on a regular basis
• Ensure that departments implement effective procedures and controls for complying with (new) applicable laws and regulations – if needed escalate non-compliance
• Advise departments and management on compliance with regulatory requirements
• Contribute to and support new product processes (incl. maintaining the product catalogue) and organizational changes by providing compliance insight
• Draft and/or review organizational guidelines (handbook chapter, process descriptions, work instructions etc.)
• Prepare compliance reports for Management and Supervisory Board
• Prepare and conduct compliance training to staff (incl. development of training material)

Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree preferred (Law, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related subjects)
• Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in financial services, ideally in a compliance, internal audit, legal or risk management role or as an external consultant or auditor
• Familiarity with European and French regulatory landscape facing financial institutions; sound knowledge of German regulations would be advantageous
• Strong analytical skills with solid problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Advanced communication skills to work effectively with staff at different seniority levels and to influence people
• High degree of own initiative, ability to work under minimum supervision
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Fluency in French and English (written and orally) is required; German language skills would be advantageous
