We are on the lookout for a passionate individual to join our dynamic digital team. Our Digital Factory division is at the forefront of a vast array of projects, aiding various Service Lines at EY in crafting cutting-edge software applications and solutions. As an Intern Developer, you will play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of software projects. This is an exceptional chance to be part of a prestigious firm while playing a key role in the expansion of our service offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions
- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code in accordance with current industry standards
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with the team
- Assist in the identification, troubleshooting, and resolution of development issues
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies
- Engage in Agile development practices and participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Support the integration of new technologies and tools to enhance the development lifecycle
- Help maintain technical documentation and assist in the creation of software user guides
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Last year bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
- A proactive, agile, and analytical approach to problem-solving
- Strong coding and debugging skills
- A commitment to excellence with a results-oriented mindset
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages and development tools
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and software development lifecycle
- Experience with version control systems, such as Git
- Holding any software development certifications would be beneficial
