LHH Luxembourg is very proud to be exclusively partnering with a highly reputable organisation to recruit its Operations Director - Country Head to lead the Luxembourg operations. Our client is a well-established international organization with over 45 years of experience, blending the agility of a modern digital brand. With a strong presence across multiple countries, the company offers a range of solutions designed to support and enhance the workforce experience. The Luxembourg team is made up of approximately 20 people across various departments, including sales, customer care, marketing, finance, and IT. The office promotes a collaborative atmosphere while handling both local and international projects.
Job purpose:
The Operations Director – Country Head collaborates with global and regional teams to implement a strategic roadmap, ensuring alignment of objectives. They oversee operations, foster a high-performance culture, and ensure business activities align with organizational goals, delivering impactful results.
Scope of Responsibilities:
- Drive business growth by identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities for profitable expansion.
- Ensure adherence to operational standards, company policies, and legal regulations.
- Oversee financial performance as P&L Owner, monitoring reports and suggesting corrective actions when needed.
- Take ownership of client, user, and merchant experiences, aligning services with stakeholder needs.
- Foster transparent communication and collaboration within local, regional, and global teams.
- Proactively manage risks while driving continuous improvement for operational excellence.
- Enhance efficiency by supporting cross-functional initiatives and promoting local decision-making.
- Identify hidden opportunities and organizational capabilities, turning them into actionable results.
- Challenge conventional thinking and uncover new commercial opportunities.
- Use data insights and financial knowledge to drive informed business decisions.
- Leverage technology and product knowledge to manage opportunities and risks.
- Demonstrate strong financial acumen to maximize P&L and seize growth opportunities.

Professional Experience :
- 10-15 years of experience in a leadership role within a large corporation.
- B2B experience is essential, with B2C experience preferred, especially in services driven by digital technologies or with an appetite for digital transformation.
- Proven track record in developing new services and expanding into new markets.
- Relationship-building and influence: Strong network with the ability to represent the company externally to corporate clients and public (government) stakeholders.
- Strong financial acumen, with the ability to identify risks and seize opportunities within the P&L, backed by data-driven decision-making.
- Team leadership: Experience leading teams, including senior directors, with a focus on high-performance leadership.
- Master’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or Marketing (minimum requirement).
- Fluent in English and French is required; proficiency in Luxembourgish is a significant advantage.
