Tasks :
- Â Ensure each file is reviewed accurately and on time by applying underwriting rules in a consistent and disciplined way
- Take part in improving internal underwriting processes, controls and methodologies by sharing insights and working closely with colleagues
- Handle underwriting cases within your authorized limits, evaluating risks and exposures to guarantee a high level of decision quality
- Partner with the Group Life Reinsurance team and internal underwriters when dealing with more technical or sensitive files
- Respect internal quality frameworks and contribute to maintaining strong compliance standards in both underwriting and reinsurance
- Keep an eye on market practices and alert senior leaders when notable trends or competitor behaviours emerge
- Participate in product discussions when underwriting expertise is required to shape design and features
- Build solid partnerships with key distributors, representing the company’s image and helping generate profitable business growth
Profile :
- A high level of English proficiency is essential, while knowledge of other languages is considered a plus
- Brings over five years of experience in life underwriting or a closely related discipline
- Solid grasp of underwriting concepts, processes, and assurance requirements within the life sector
- Strong ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both in writing and verbally
- Demonstrates precision, thoroughness, and strong analytical capabilities
- Possesses a client-oriented mindset and can develop positive and productive relationships inside and outside the organization
- Confident using digital tools, particularly Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel
- Able to prioritize tasks efficiently, meet deadlines, and remain flexible when priorities shift
- Works well with others and approaches challenges with a constructive, solution-oriented attitude
