Accountant (m/f) fixed term contract
Join our dynamic team at the Luxembourg Bankers’ Association. The ABBL represents over 210 banks and professionals of the financial sector, promoting the sustainable development of regulated, innovative, and responsible banking services in Luxembourg.
Your role
You will ensure the daily management of accounting entries in compliance with imternal procedures, while guaranteeing the reliability and accuracy of the accounts. You will work under the supervision of the Head of Accounting and Finance.
Your tasks
Purchases:
- Entry of supplier invoices
- Allocation to the corresponding budget
- Request and follow-up of validation by the person responsible for the relevant budget
- Preparation of payments
Sales:
- Creation and entry of sales invoices
- Payment follow-up and management of reminders
Bank & Cash:
- Entry of banking transactions
- Reconciliation with bank statements
- Cash inventory preparation
Other tasks:
- Entry of expense reports
- Entry of VISA expense statements
- Fixed asset tracking and maintenance of the asset register
- Management and monitoring of contracts and orders
- Participation in closing and budgeting activities
Your profile
- A diploma equivalent to a Bac +2 in accounting or a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Good knowledge of Luxembourg accounting standards
- Knowledge of accounting software (BOB50 and Multiline ideally)
- Rigor, organizational and adaptability skills
- Discretion and respect for data confidentiality
- Ease of communication
- Fluency in French is a must, proficiency in English is required
