The opportunity:


We are currently looking for a Data Scientist to help us develop new data-focused products that generate value added for our clients as well as for company's internal efficiency. As a Data Scientist, you will be vital in contributing to our efforts as an industry leader by creating best-in-class data modelling and science to support and collaborate with a team of PPC Specialists and Programmatic specialists to drive profitable sales growth for our clients. The successful candidate has great opportunities to develop an exciting career in a dynamic and fast-growing digital marketing company.


What you’ll be doing:


  • Data Science: Apply statistical techniques, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization methods to uncover patterns, trends, and correlations. Develop predictive models to forecast future outcomes, such as customer behavior, sales trends, or market demand. Write automation scripts to process and analyze data efficiently, improving data workflows and reducing manual tasks.
  • Predictive Data Models: Utilize our rich datasets to develop and implement advanced predictive models, including time series forecasting, recommendation engines, and budget forecasting. Your work will directly impact our ability to predict business outcomes and drive strategic decisions.
  • Amazon Marketing Cloud: Work with event-level datasets provided by Amazon around Retail Commerce & Media. You will be responsible in define new SQL data models and integrate them into our business processes, enhancing our marketing strategies, and consulting capabilities.
  • Rich Commerce Datasets: Stay ahead of the latest trends in retail media. As a part of our team, you will contribute to our position as a best-in-class data integrator. You will actively participate in the dynamic retail media world and leverage our rich commerce datasets to provide our enterprise clients with strategic advantages


What we want from you:


  • Python Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Python is essential for data transformations, analysis, scripting, and data automation. Experience in ETL, machine learning and linear/non-linear optimization techniques.
  • Machine Learning Expertise: Possess a strong understanding of machine learning techniques, including model development, training, and evaluation, for solving various data-driven problems. You possess good understanding of services like AWS Sagemaker and Vertex AI.
  • Strong SQL & Data Warehouse Skills: Expert knowledge in SQL for defining new data models on top of event-level data is an absolute must. Previous experience with dbt (data build tool), or alternative tools, highlighting your ability to perform complex data transformations and manage data workflows efficiently is considered a big plus. 
  • Media and/or Retail Experience: Previous working experience in e-commerce or advertising space is considered as a major plus.
  • Interest in Generative AI: An interest in generative AI solutions and training techniques, which can be applied to accelerate data analytics.
  • Work Experience: 5+ years of working experience in data science roles, or engineer role with data scientists.
  • Languages: Fluency in English, any further language is a plus
  • EU working permit
