TAX & REPORTING MANAGER

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, based in Luxembourg, for a permanent position:

Tax & Reporting Manager (m/f)

Job description:

Your responsibilities:

·        Oversee and monitor the preparation of VAT returns and summary statements across several jurisdictions (BE, LU, IT, ES, DE, FR, NL, PL)

·        Ensure compliance with local and European regulations on indirect taxation

·        Provide VAT advice to internal stakeholders (Sales, Accounts Payable, Logistics)

·        Prepare and oversee statistical tax reports

·        Liaise with tax authorities during audits

·        Support and contribute to VAT compliance automation initiatives

·        Support and develop the skills of four colleagues (technical support, tax return verification)

·        Monitor and verify the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements

·        Ensure compliance with IFRS standards and identify reporting discrepancies

·        Assist analysts in using reporting tools

·        Liaise with the group’s auditors

Your profile :

·        Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent

·        Fluency in French, English and Italian

·        At least 5 years’ proven experience in a similar role

·        Solid knowledge of financial reporting and IFRS standards

·        Advanced proficiency in Excel

·        Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage

You have a work permit for Luxembourg and accommodation in Luxembourg or nearby.
