(Senior) Analyst Sales – Developing Countries (f/m/d)

In this role, you will combine strong analytical capabilities with solid business understanding to
support the Commercial organization with data-driven insights and performance analysis. By
collecting and interpreting internal and external data, you will provide actionable insights that
enable fact-based decision-making and support the team in driving revenue growth and
profitability across developing countries.
Beyond analyzing sales performance, you will also act as an important interface between
Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance/Controlling, contributing to improved
transparency, stronger alignment across teams and more efficient commercial processes.
Through your analyses and cross-functional collaboration, you will help identify opportunities,
challenge assumptions and support the continuous improvement of our commercial
performance management.
You will play a key role in monitoring commercial performance and identifying opportunities
to drive growth across our developing countries.
Responsibilities include:
- Analyze sales performance, market trends and KPIs to identify risks, opportunities and growth drivers across markets and product segments
- Translate data into actionable business insights that support commercial decisionmaking and performance improvement
- Monitor weekly and monthly sales performance and provide visibility on key business developments
- Challenge forecasts, assumptions and business plans using historical data, benchmarks and market dynamics
- Identify additional sales opportunities and areas for performance improvement
- Develop and continuously improve analytical reports and dashboards to increase transparency of commercial performance
- Conduct pricing and margin simulations and contribute analytical input to pricing strategy discussions
- Analyze product and segment performance to support portfolio and commercial strategy decisions
Required Profile
- Completed a university degree in Business Administration, Economics, or similar field of study,
- Minimum of 5 years’ working experience in a comparable role or in Controlling, preferably in the FMCG industry,
- Sound business acumen and Finance/Controlling understanding,
- Proven ability to interpret numbers in a business context,
- Strong analytical mind combined with KPI-driven thinking,
- Ability to work independently, in a structured manner and in a target-oriented way,
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills,
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel), SAP and database/BI tools,
- Intercultural competence: respecting and appreciating colleagues from different cultural backgrounds and hierarchical levels,
- Languages: Fluency in English and good knowledge of another foreign language (German would be a strong advantage).
