Project Manager – Global Priority Migration (M/F/D)
The Mission
Our client, a major global banking institution, is looking for a Project Manager based in Luxembourg for a high-priority strategic mission.
This project is part of a global initiative driven by the Asia-Pacific (APAC) business in Hong Kong. The goal is to simplify the bank’s operating model by migrating clients from APAC to Luxembourg, with a target to complete all transitions by the end of 2026.
- Duration: 9 months
- Location: Luxembourg (International environment).
- Context: Bridge between Luxembourg operations and Hong Kong leadership.
Your Responsibilities
You will be the central point of coordination in Luxembourg, ensuring that local teams stay aligned with the global project timeline.
- Global Coordination: Represent the Luxembourg office and act as the primary contact for the central project management team based in Hong Kong.
- Local Leadership: Support and coordinate several project workstreams led by local experts in various functions (such as Operations, Compliance, and AML/KYC).
- Monitoring & Reporting: Maintain a detailed project plan, track progress, and provide clear status updates to both local and global management.
- Meeting Management: Organize and lead meetings to drive delivery, ensure progress, and follow up on actions.
- Execution & Problem Solving: Execute specific project tasks as directed by workstream leads and handle ad-hoc issues or administrative documentation as they arise.
The Ideal Profile
We are looking for a "Project Expert"—someone who excels at organization and can navigate a complex international environment independently.
- Experience: Proven experience in managing large-scale projects. Experience in Asset Management or Financial Services is a strong plus, though not mandatory if your methodology is solid.
- Communication: Fluent in English (written and spoken). You must be comfortable managing stakeholders of all levels across different countries and cultures.
- Organization Tools: Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and project scheduling tools (Gantt charts, etc.).
- Methodology: A strong understanding of project management standards is an advantage (Agile, Prince2, or PMP frameworks are a significant plus).
- Soft Skills: You are a "self-starter" with a positive, "can-do" attitude. You have excellent professional judgment, especially knowing when to escalate risks to management.
