Job Content:

As a Senior Automation & Monitoring Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the monitoring, scheduling, automation and orchestration of the Bank’s Data center.

This role involves creating standard processes, procedures and whitepapers for the platform architecture, event management and ITSM.

Your Responsibilities

• Developing and improving Enterprise Splunk environment
• Design, implement and apply machine learning solutions to various aspects of the service.
• Drive the operational model transformation to AIOps.
• Creation of glass table, notable events and searches,
• Correlation and scheduling of searches, dashboard, alerts and visualizations development,
• Work with different stakeholders to design and implement different type of dashboard, reports, and queries.
• Effectively and efficiently onboard data sources, create indexes and data model, establish health monitoring and KPIs.
• Accurately troubleshoot to diagnose and resolve problems with data sources, data mappings, queries, and other components that support operations.
• Identify technology and process gaps that affect the customer services; develop solutions and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Maintain a good understanding of stakeholders’ needs in regard to sources and use cases. 

Profile:

Main prerequisites:

• Splunk Administration IT Service Intelligence (ITSI)
• Strong working knowledge of Splunk Query Language
• Demonstrated knowledge of Machine Learning algorithms and practices
• Strong engineering skills with expertise in Python and fluency in data manipulation, big data and machine learning
• Solid foundation in software engineering methodologies: automation, continuous integration, cloud infrastructure
• Experience with Splunk Enterprise Data Administration
• Experience with high volume data systems and handling very large storage systems
• Experienced IT administration with broad and in-depth technical, analytical and conceptual skills
• Excellent understanding and knowledge of general IT infrastructure technology and systems
