For one of our clients, we are recruiting a Housekeeper / Cook (m/f/d) on a permanent full-time contract (40h/week).

We are looking for an organised, meticulous and service-oriented person with a passion for high standards of living, in order to ensure the impeccable maintenance of a private residence located in Strassen, while also managing the preparation of daily meals for the household.

Main responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for the complete and meticulous housekeeping of the house,
• You will ensure the thorough cleaning of the various living areas as well as the care of delicate materials and surfaces,
• You will maintain order and impeccable organisation throughout the home,
• You will take care of household linen and clothing, including washing, careful ironing and storage,
• You will prepare menus in advance according to the family’s eating habits and preferences,
• You will carry out grocery shopping and manage the household’s food supplies,
• You will prepare varied, balanced and high-quality family meals,
• You will also take care of a small dog with attention and kindness.

Your profile:

• Previous experience in a similar position within a private household is required,
• Excellent housekeeping and household organisation skills,
• Strong family-style cooking skills and experience managing daily meal preparation,
• Discretion, attention to detail and strong sense of responsibility,
• Versatility, autonomy and proactive mindset,
• Fluency in French and English is mandatory, or English only,
• Well-presented with impeccable manners and professionalism.
• Driving license and car mandatory

Organisation:

• Working hours: Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm or from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm,
• Days off: Saturday and Sunday,
• Location: Grand Duchy of Luxembourg (Strassen),
• Start date: as soon as possible,
• Salary: between EUR 18 and EUR 19 net/hour depending on profile and experience,
• Contract type: Permanent contract – full-time (40h/week).
