We are looking for a
Commercial Project Controller (m/f/d)
You are passionate about the commercial success of engineering projects and enjoy working at the interface between Sales, Project Management, and Finance? Join TMT and take end-to-end responsibility for core commercial workstreams in tailor-made machine and plant engineering projects. As Commercial Project Controller you act as the commercial counterpart within the project team from handover through execution to final account and closure.
Key responsibilities
Own the commercial project set-up and ensure consistent execution of all commercial processes from handover to closing
Establish and maintain the commercial project structure in the ERP system
Perform cost monitoring, commitments and traceable documentation
Prepare and drive result forecasts and support corrective actions with the project team
Coordinate customer invoicing plans, milestone billing, down payments, and ensure timely invoicing in line with contract requirements
Prepare periodic commercial KPIs and reporting packages for project reviews and management reporting
Coordinate bank guarantees and letters of credit in cooperation with customers, banks, and internal finance
Support commercial topics in customer and internal meetings and contribute to a robust handover between Sales and Execution.
What we expect
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, business engineering or related field
At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar position
Strong numerical skills and the ability to structure complex commercial topics pragmatically
Solid experience with ERP systems and project structures
Good understanding of contractual fundamentals
Fluency in English. French and/or German is an asset
High accuracy, ownership mindset, reliability, and proactive communication.
