Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include
- Contributing to the business planning and decision making, with an appreciation of the implications on the wider Group
- Providing technically accurate, complex legal advice to clients demonstrating a high standard of professional knowledge
- Establishing, building and maintaining productive working relationships with clients, acting as an authority in the area of expertise, both internally and externally
- Developing and providing a culture of service excellence within the team and jurisdiction, ensuring that the highest quality of work is achieved consistently and efficiently in all areas
- Generating business from both new and existing clients, via effective internal and external business
- Development activities and striving to develop the Ogier brand
- Responsibility for the performance and development of direct reports in conjunction with the Partner
- Providing effective leadership, drive and motivation, and project a credible image that inspires confidence
- Encouraging teamwork at all levels to achieve personal, team and group objectives
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- A minimum of 8 years’ post-qualification experience with the funds environment
- Strong team and relationship building, negotiation, presentation, communication and leadership skills
- Ability to inspire and develop others
- Ability to formulate, consider and select the most appropriate solutions
- Be results-driven with a high level of business acumen and commerciality
