Trasys International offers IT Consulting jobs at the European Institutions and International Organizations.

 

For our customer, EU institution based in Luxembourg, we are looking for several SAS developers.

 

Tasks:


  • Assisting users in the analysis and definition and draft of their requirements.
  • Design and implement process, workflow and/or data models according to the requirements specified.
  • Attend and conduct working meetings with the users, taking note of the different opinions and writing down and distributing the meeting minutes.
  • Estimation of workload, cost and impact of user requests.
  • Writing technical specifications for the analysis, design and implementation and testing of those requirements.
  • Develop the features that respond to the requirements in SAS, according to the analysis and design, having in mind the project plan, priorities and deadlines set.
  • Develop in bash scripting programs that support the integration of external components with SAS.
  • Follow up and test the developments, ensuring their quality. Update the functionalities and documentation when the requirements change.
  • Assist in deploying and configuration of the new developments.

 

Requirements:


  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT in general, including at least 2 years in Statistics and SAS programming
  • Fluency in English
  • Experience with statistical production processes considered as an advantage
  • Good knowledge of stored procedure languages
  • Good knowledge of application development environments
  • Familiarity with bug tracking/reporting tools (ex.: JIRA and SMT)
  • Familiarity with business process modelling languages (ex.: BPMN)
  • Familiarity with enterprise content management tools (ex.: MS SharePoint)
  • Very good analytical skills, for problem solving, algorithm design and respective implementation
  • Willingness to work in an environment where the compliance with formal procedures and hierarchical instructions are of utmost importance
