Conducting Officer - Fund Supervision and Oversight

We are recruiting the new Conducting Officer in charge of Fund Supervision to join the Luxembourg team.

Our client is an independent banking and financial group, offering private banking and asset management services to European and international clients. The Management Company offers UCITS and AIF funds.

Description

As the new Conducting Officer in charge of Fund Oversight, your main responsibilities will be:

• Be an integral part of a Senior Management team of the ManCo
• Supervise a team of 2 persons
• Manage relationships with third-party service providers, including custodians, auditors, and administrators
• Conduct due diligence and performance reviews of service providers
• Funds Supervision: on operations side, manage fund setups, fees, incident monitoring, registrar transactions, holdings...
• On corporate governance side, supervise the board and general meetings, audits, and reporting
• Lead various projects such as fund launches, closures, prospectus and changes, capital closings...
• Serve as the first point of contact with legal advisers and CSSF on all fund-related matters.

Profile

Your profile:

• University diploma in law, finance or economics
• At least 7 years' experience in a senior operational role in a ManCo or a fund, Custodian Bank, or Central Administration
• Good knowledge of the Luxembourg fund industry
• Deep knowledge of Private Assets is a strong advantage
• Fluency in French and English
• Good communication skills and ability to multitask
