The recruitment agency of ManpowerGroup is hiring for one of its clients, a recognized industry in Luxembourg. We are looking for a R&D Strategist, Advanced Product Development (m/f/x) for a permanent position to start immediately.
Role:
- Lead Advanced Product Development projects from concept to SOP, managing APD engineers and collaborating with internal/external partners.
- Act as the subject matter expert in the assigned technology field and product family.
- Serve as the main interface for the Product Manager, contributing to market research and product roadmaps.
- Develop and implement R&D strategies to achieve product maturity within deadlines and budget constraints.
- Create and manage development budgets for the product family.
- Provide technical expertise in glass materials and product design, including GD&T and DFMEA.
- Ensure compliance with automotive testing and performance specifications.
Profile:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Physics, Optics, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in a relevant role with career progression.
- Strong background in the automotive supplier industry.
- Expertise in glass materials and product design.
- Experience with GD&T, DFMEA, and automotive customer testing requirements.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in French and/or German is a strong advantage.
