For our department Buildings & Constructions within LuxairServices, we are looking for a (an):

Building & Facilities Coordinator (m/f/x)

Main duties:

  • Overseeing daily site operations, by assigning tasks to the internal technical team, conducting weekly meetings and site inspections.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor work schedules to ensure effective preventive and corrective maintenance of Luxair's buildings and infrastructure.
  • Manage subcontractors by tracking interventions, verifying service quality, reviewing proposals, and managing orders, invoices, and deliveries.
  • Plan and deliver modernization projects in compliance with legislation, coordinating civil, mechanical, electrical, IT, and environmental activities with external providers.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and coordinate projects aimed at reducing energy and recycling costs.
  • Implement and monitor initiatives to reduce environmental impact, focusing on waste management, recycling, and renewable energy use.
  • Act as the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including clients, administrations, regulatory bodies, and service providers.
  • Ensure all maintenance and project activities comply with safety standards, regulations, and environmental requirements, and recommend improvements to enhance facility and personnel safety.


Required profile:

Minimum required criteria

  • Bachelor's degree (Bac + 2) in Building maintenance (HVAC / Electricity), or equivalent experience, with at least 5 years in maintenance including environmental scope.
  • Expertise in HVAC systems and infrastructure maintenance (plumbing, electricity, carpentry) and in environmental management, with strong knowledge of safety standards and building regulations.
  • Proactive, strong communication skills, available to handle B & F hotline outside office hours and on weekends, and able to intervene on-site.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficient in MS Office, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, etc.
  • Proficiency in both English and French (spoken and written).
  • Valid driving license (category B).

The ideal candidate

  • Knowledge of Luxemburgish and/or German or any other language is considered as asset
