My client is a provider of risk management consulting services with 1,500 consultants spread across more than 70 offices worldwide. They offer highly advanced and specialized advice to their clients in the areas of financial and actuarial analysis, risk retention structuring and financing, as well as enterprise risk management. My client's strong commercial presence is rapidly expanding, and we are currently seeking the following profile to support growth at all levels of their operations in Luxembourg.
As a Non Life Senior Actuary, you will join a team of 6 Actuarial Consultants and will be responsible for providing strategic advice and analytical solutions to our client portfolio.
As a Senior Actuary, you will be involved in the following areas:
- Solvency II
- Loss Reserving
- Risk Quantification
- Modeling of Corporate Risk Tolerance
- Certification of Capital Adequacy for Life and Non-Life Activities
Responsibilities of a Senior Actuary :
- Conduct data research and quantitative risk modeling
- Provide analytical advice and solutions to clients
- Collaborate with the team to achieve common goals
- Liaise with international clients and the company's European operations
- Produce deliverables and reports in English and French
Required Skills and Qualifications as a Senior Actuary :
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional experience in actuarial work
- Excellent academic record in a quantitative field and actuarial science
- Strong analytical and spreadsheet skills
- Good understanding of Solvency II, risk management, and insurance (life and/or non-life)
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in English and French, both spoken and written (at least one of these languages must be fluent, with a very good command of the other)
- Another European language (German, Italian, Spanish, Dutch) would be an asset
