Our client, a European institution, is looking for an Operational Assistant who speaks English fluently. French is a plus. This temporary contract starts as soon as possible
Accountabilities:
The assistant will be part of a pool of assistants and will contribute in an autonomous and proactive way to the divisional activities.
He will provide operational and administrative support to the Corporate Divisions.
- Proactively contribute to the maintenance/update of the databases/lists/IT systems relevant to the Corporate Divisions. This entails timely and accurate filing/archiving;
- Distributing incoming mails/digital documents to team members;
- Ensure that staff in the Division respects the established procedures and templates and amend them as required by management;
- Assist HoD/HoUs/Monitoring Officers on specific tasks as required (e.g., preparation of PowerPoint presentations, editing and formatting Notes, preparing meetings, collecting signatures, preparing invoices, etc.);
- Collect missing annual reports/Credit Information Packages of corporate counterparts.
Qualifications
- Secondary level education completed, with a 2-year certification in a relevant field (secretarial studies, business administration) or secondary level education completed, with equally qualified experience in a relevant field;
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience;
- Excellent knowledge of the Bank's standard IT tools (particularly Business Objects, and MS Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Knowledge of SharePoint/Notes and SERAPIS, GED would be a strong advantage; - Fluent in English and/or French. Knowledge of other EU languages would be an advantage.
