Our client, a reputable player in the banking sector, is seeking a Depositary Officer specialized in Private Equity and Real Estate Alternative Investment Funds (PERE AIFs) to strengthen their team.
Your Responsibilities :
Oversight & Monitoring
- Perform ongoing oversight duties in line with CSSF requirements for AIFs.
- Conduct due diligence and continuous monitoring of fund service providers, including fund administrators and investment managers.
- Ensure proper ownership verification and reconciliation of assets.
- Oversee daily cash flow monitoring.
- Execute oversight duties such as reviewing valuation processes.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly KPI reports.
- Support the process of issuing year-end portfolio asset positions.
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure adherence to the AIFMD Directive and CSSF Circulars.
- Assist in updating internal procedures to align with evolving regulations.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders as needed.
Your Profile :
Education & Experience
- University degree in Finance, Economics, Law, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a depositary role within the Luxembourg fund industry, with a focus on AIF (PERE) structures.
Technical Skills
- Solid understanding of the AIFMD regulatory framework.
- Proficient in Excel and MS Office tools.
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Italian or French is considered an asset).
- A team-oriented mindset with the ability to manage priorities independently.
