REGULATORY REPORTING ASSISTANT
We are delighted to support this prestigious PE firm in the recruitment of a new Compliance and Regulatory assistant for their Luxembourg branch. This is a challenging and exciting opportunity to join a small but highly professional organisation.
RESPONSABILITY:
·Oversee quarterly and annual data collection processes for EU and U.S. anti-trust regulations (ECMR, HSR). Assist with ad-hoc filings to competition authorities, when triggered by fund acquisitions/exits, and coordinate with external counsel and compliance teams.
·Collect data on non-EU state subsidies (FSR) received among portfolio companies, in collaboration with external counsel.
·Centralize global funds KYC/AML requests in collaboration with other teams.
·Coordinate with local banks for setting up accounts and answering KYC requests.
·Assist internal teams with independence checks across funds' portfolio companies, e.g., annual audit checks, maintaining an updated list of all subsidiaries from portfolio companies.
·Ensure timely submissions of beneficial owner reports for U.S. and UK SPVs (CTA/FinCEN/UK), coordinating with compliance and external advisors.
·Assist with annual FATCA/CRS filings for global funds SPVs, with external advisors. Challenge SPVs' classification if necessary.
·Ensure that the OECD regulations (MDR/DAC6) are properly assessed across global funds and portfolio companies in collaboration with tax advisors.
THE PROFILE:
·Bachelor's degree in law, accounting, or finance.
·1 to 3 years prior work experience in a similar role.
·Full professional proficiency in English and French.
·Prior exposure to PERE is an asset.
·Computer literate.
·General awareness of the Luxembourg compliance and KYC environment is a must.
·Proactive, organized and motivated, willing to learn, adapt and grow.
·Focused on quality and meeting deadlines.
