At Deloitte Luxembourg, our tax specialists advise our clients on all tax aspects of their activities such as their investment structures, the products they may offer to their respective clients and related strategies tailored for transactions and investments they make. They also assist them navigating in a fast-paced tax environment and ever more complex EU and international regulations.

 

We handle all types of fiscal issues in a national and cross-border environment, also considering accounting and finance aspects of transactions we are involved in, offering our clients a broad range of fully integrated tax services.

 

As part of the Tax department, the Tax Technical Team brings tax expertise to help our clients from diverse industries to deal with their most complex tax issues and obligations in an evolving tax environment.

 

We are looking for bright and dedicated talents to join our Tax Technical Team made of seasoned tax experts.

 

Your next challenge

 

  • Developing your technical knowledge by working on very diverse clients and industries and complex direct tax topics
  • Helping in the preparation of detailed technical notes and internal and external publication
  • Staying abreast of corporate and individual tax developments at domestic, European and international levels - proposed legislation, case-law, administrative practice... - and evaluate their implications
  • Supporting highly experienced people participating in various internal and external working groups
  • Ensuring a continuous contribution to the development of the tax department’s knowledge management

Your skills

 

  • Hold a Master's degree in law, economics, finance or from a business school, ideally with a major in tax
  • Have ideally a first experience in tax (either as an external adviser or in an in-house department)
  • Distinguish yourself by your analytical and rigorous approach, be result-oriented
  • Have good understanding of market and clients’ needs
  • Be keen to learn and build expertise and be able to acquire new competencies and adapt quickly to new tasks and environments
  • Have interest in deep search and analysis and have excellent writing skills
  • Show excellent listening and communication skills
  • Work well within a multicultural team, have a great team spirit but be also able to work in autonomy
  • Have good working command of English and French or German (written and spoken). Any other language is considered as an asset.
