Introduction :
Our client is a leading international law firm with a strong presence in Luxembourg and a highly regarded Banking & Finance practice. Due to continued growth, the team is looking to recruit a Banking & Finance Associate with 3 to 4 years of post-qualification experience.
This position is particularly suited to lawyers seeking exposure to sophisticated transactional work, working alongside experienced partners and international clients on complex cross-border financing matters.
Responsibilities :
- Advise domestic and international clients on a broad range of financing transactions.
- Assist with acquisition finance, leveraged finance, fund finance, real estate finance, asset finance and refinancing transactions.
- Draft and negotiate finance documentation and security packages.
- Participate in restructuring and debt refinancing projects.
- Advise lenders, borrowers, sponsors and investment funds on Luxembourg law aspects of financing transactions.
- Work closely with colleagues across multiple jurisdictions on cross-border matters.
- Contribute to business development initiatives and client relationship management.
Profile :
- Qualified lawyer with 3 to 4 years of Banking & Finance experience gained in Luxembourg.
- Strong exposure to transactional finance matters.
- Experience in financing, refinancing, security interests and structured finance transactions.
- Excellent drafting and analytical skills.
- Fluent in English and French.
- Ability to work autonomously while thriving in a collaborative environment.
- Commercial mindset and strong client-facing abilities.
