Introduction :
We are supporting a highly regarded American law firm in Luxembourg in the recruitment of a Banking & Finance Lawyer with a transactional focus.
The firm combines the resources of a global network with a human-sized, collaborative team in Luxembourg, providing exposure to sophisticated cross-border transactions. The office is known for its friendly and supportive culture, high-quality work, and direct access to partners and clients.
Responsibilities :
As part of the Banking & Finance team, you will:
Advise on complex financing transactions, including syndicated loans, acquisition finance, and structured finance.
Draft and negotiate loan agreements, security documents, and related transactional documentation.
Work closely with international offices on cross-border matters.
Collaborate directly with partners and senior lawyers, gaining exposure to strategic client matters.
Support clients across a variety of sectors, including corporate, financial institutions, and investment funds.
This role offers hands-on experience, strong mentorship, and the opportunity to build a reputation in Luxembourg's transactional banking market.
Profile :
Fully qualified lawyer admitted to the Luxembourg Bar (List I or equivalent)
3-6 years of experience in banking & finance, with a focus on transactional work
Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
Fluent in English; French and/or German are considered an asset
Motivated, collaborative, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
