We have the pleasure to assist a growing law firm that was founded over 10 years ago, with a presence all across Europe and Asia, in their search for a Senior Associate Corporate/M&A. As they have built a good reputation for themselves, which has led to their client portfolio growing, they are now looking to strengthen their team of 10 people.

Their Luxembourgish office is led by highly experienced partners, who have allowed the firm to develop a high level client base in the country and also to provide a top-notch and multidisciplinary service in Corporate law, tax law, investment funds, banking & finance and so on. 

This law firm is represented by several hundreds of lawyers on an international scale, which is quite reassuring if you are looking for a firm that offers stability and the opportunity to be part of a network. Furthermore, the law firm’s size in Luxembourg is still quite human as there are a few dozen collaborators, so you can get to know your colleagues and work closely together.

Your Responsibilities | Law – Lawyer – Legal – Senior Associate – Corporate – Avocat

• You will be offer your clients a personalized approach and quality-oriented advice in terms of corporate transactions such as financing/refinancing, mergers, acquisitions and more.
• You will draft, negotiate and review legal documents and contracts and proactively assist your clients in the follow-up or in case they have questions.
• Remaining up to date with all evolutions in terms of corporate law is an integral part of your function as this allows you to maintain the high standards of service of the law firm.
• As a Senior Associate in the Corporate practice, you will have a first exposure in supervising and coaching junior associates.
  
  

Profile and Career Path | Law – Lawyer – Legal – Senior Associate – Corporate – Avocat

• You are a member of the Bar in Luxembourg, or another European country and have acquired at least 4 years of experience in the Corporate/M&A department of a law firm in Luxembourg.
• You speak French and English fluently. German will be considered as an impressive asset.
• You are autonomous in the way you take on your files and care about sharing your skills and knowledge with less experienced lawyers.
• You see yourself evolving in a law firm with an international network and excellent know-how, which will of course only represent an asset for your future career.
  
  

Offer | Law – Lawyer – Legal – Senior Associate – Corporate – Avocat

• You can count on an excellent salary up to €120.000 gross (on an employee status) per year with meal vouchers, health insurance and a bonus. Your salary will also be revised on an annual basis.  
• As you will join a law firm that is part of an international network, this allows you to benefit from a strong methodology and organization internally while also being surrounded by excellent lawyers at different stages in their career.
• The work environment is quite modern as the offices have been entirely renovated and you will feel comfortable meeting your clients in this highly professional law firm.
• As a cross-border worker coming from Belgium, France or even Germany, the location of this law firm is ideal. With bus and tram stops nearby, as well as numerous shops and supermarkets, you will never regret working in this district of Luxembourg.
• The law firm is quite flexible, as it allows you to start your day until 9.30 AM and also offers regular homeworking (34 days per year). You can either take a full day of homeworking per week, or two half days, which will certainly facilitate your personal organization.
