Role overview:

We are looking to recruit legal interns ('stagiaires PPI') for a six months internship in all our practice areas:
- Global Loans
- Corporate
- Investment Funds
- Tax
During your internship, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting legal research;
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents;
- Supporting lawyers on a daily basis on a variety of tasks and clients cases;
- Contributing to knowledge management and sharing.
You would typically act on all elements of varied deals from term sheet stage, through to closing and post-closing. Your specific areas of responsibility will initially be to assist the team to produce initial drafts of agreements and ensuring a smooth process to transaction close.
You would also be expected to manage projects that have been assigned to you, and liaise closely with colleagues, clients, counterparties and other advisers.
You will be working as part of committed and inspired friendly teams. Our lawyers are experts in their respective areas and passionate about the work they do.
About you:
Experience
- We are looking to recruit candidates with a strong academic background as part of their qualification route (Ecole de Formation au Barreau).
- Preliminary experience gained through internships within a law firm is a strong advantage;
Skills
- Fluency in English and French is a must, German and/or Luxembourgish would be an asset;
- An adaptable person who is eager to learn;
- A team-player who can work effectively with colleagues at all levels;
- Excellent legal analysis;
- Proactive commercial approach;
- Able to demonstrate the entrepreneurial spirit and energy necessary to help win and execute complicated and high profile corporate transactions; and
- Excellent communication skills, in particular confident to express yourself in writing.
