Our client, a company specializing in integrated IT solutions and distribution services, is seeking for a Senior Accountant for a temporary contract position.

Your responsabilities:
- Supervising the general accounting functions (General Ledger, Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable) for two companies, ensuring adherence to local GAAPs (including German and Swiss GAAP) and IFRS
- Handling daily accounting tasks and managing daily cash operations
- Supporting month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing monthly reports and account reconciliations, including intercompany transactions
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements on time
- Coordinating with external auditors for group and standalone audits, as well as with tax authorities and internal auditors
- Preparing tax returns and monthly VAT filings
- Overseeing intercompany cash management and lending
- Preparing and maintaining reports related to cash flow activities
- Actively contributing to maintaining and developing internal control policies and procedures
Your profile:
- Relevant degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance
- At least 7-8 years of relevant professional experience
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, is required.
- Strong knowledge of SAP is a significant advantage
- Fluency in English; knowledge of German is beneficial
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible collaborator who provides inventive, effective, and feasible resolutions to challenges
