About the FDEF

As part of the Luxembourg National Centre of Excellence in Research and Innovation in Financial Technologies (FTNCER) we look for one postdoctoral researcher in financial law, with a focus on collective investment schemes, private assets and financial technologies.

Your role

  • Conduct research and contribute to other activities falling into the scope of the research projects, in particular: drafting research papers, prepare the scientific materials of project meetings; contributing to project events' organisation
  • Conduct own research in the related topics, publish articles in scientific reviews and contribute to conferences
  • Contribute to preparing further research proposals
  • Provide research support and coordinate researchers working in the same field

Your profile

  • PhD degree in Financial Law
  • Strong academic credentials. Candidates with excellent grades will be prioritised
  • Proven interest in financial law, for instance through master theses, publications, and/or internships at law firms
  • Ability to work in and interest in interdisciplinary work, with a focus on computer science, information systems management and finance
  • Excellent command of English is required

  • PhD diploma or a letter/information indicating the expected defense date
  • Transcript of all modules and results from university-level courses taken
  • List of publications
  • A detailed research proposal (2-4 pages) including a bibliography
  • Names, contact information and current position of 1 referee who can, upon request, provide an assessment of the application. Please indicate one's relationship to you
