Your role

The Department of Economics and Management is looking for a Postdoctoral Researcher to conduct research in technology diffusion and culture. The candidate will be working under the supervision of Professor Skerdilajda Zanaj.

In particular, the candidate will be in charge of:

• Conduct research and contributing to other activities falling into the scope of the research project, in particular: drafting research papers, prepare the scientific materials of project meetings; contributing to project events' organization
• Assist with teaching activities, one to three hours a week and contribute to tutoring students
• Contribute to preparing further research proposals
• Offer research assistance and coordinating young researchers working in the same field

Your profile

We are looking for a candidate with a PhD in Economics, preferably with a specialization in applied econometrics.

In particular, the following requirements apply:

• Strong interest in economics of culture and technology diffusion and adoption
• Proven ability to autonomously conduct research at a post-doctoral level
• Good IT skills
• Have the linguistic skills to evolve in a multilingual environment
  

Language Requirements: Excellent command of either English or French (C1), very good command of the other language (B2), and knowledge of a third language, particularly German, will be considered an advantage.
