Your role
- Design, build, and ship features across the whole stack, from UI to API to database
- Turn research ideas and product requirements into clean, well-tested, production-grade code
- Build intuitive, accessible interfaces for teachers and students
- Integrate and work with LLM-based services where they add real value to the product
- Own performance, reliability, and security of the platform as it grows
- Set up and maintain CI/CD, deployment, monitoring, and the everyday plumbing of a serious web product
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from scoping and design to release and iteration
- Contribute to technical documentation and collaborate on grant proposals and publications where relevant
- Work directly with pilot schools and partners to understand what's working and what isn't
Wingos is an AI-powered educational technology project with a particular focus on Luxembourg's multilingual classroom context. It brings together advanced AI, adaptive learning, and carefully designed user experiences to support teachers and students in their daily work. Wingos sits at the intersection of applied research and a real product used in real schools, which means the engineering has to be as solid as the ideas behind it.
Your profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript and at least one modern frontend framework, e.g. React, Next.js
- Solid server-side experience in Node.js and/or Python - FastAPI
- Good working knowledge of database technologies - PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB
- Comfort with modern DevOps practices and tools - Git, Docker, CI/CD
- Experience taking features from idea to production, and maintaining them once they're live
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Fluent written and verbal English is mandatory. Working knowledge of French, German, or Luxembourgish is welcome but not required
Considered a plus:
- Experience integrating LLM providers: OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Mistral into production applications
- Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP
- Experience building multilingual web applications
- Experience in EdTech or other domains involving non-technical end users
