The Faculty of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences (FHSE) at the University of Luxembourg brings together expertise from the humanities, linguistics, cognitive sciences, social and educational sciences.

The successful candidate will join the Department of Geography and Spatial Planning (DGEO).
Your role
Provide general administrative / secretarial assistance to the team of the National Contact Point Luxembourg in the European Migration Network (EMN Luxembourg): national reporting under SOPEMI (Système d'observation permanente des migrations), and related activities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support for the relevant activities on a daily basis
- Complete logistical and organisational processes in the context of event management, booking venues and service providers (including catering), travel arrangements and expenses, drafting and sending invitations, managing participant registrations
- Prepare and manage documentation, reports and minutes of meetings and events of the team
- Help drafting financial and technical reports for EMN Luxembourg
- Communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Your profile
- Higher vocational certificate or diploma or equivalent professional experience specialized in business administration or similar
- At least 3 years of professional experience in business administration: a focus in finance would be an asset
- Analytical skills and attention to detail, sense of responsibility and ability to prioritize
- Advanced skills in handling financial and administrative reports
- Knowledge of SAP and Power BI (Microsoft) is considered as an asset
- Fluency in French and English is required. German and Luxembourg language skills would be an asset
