POSTE
For one of our clients, a European Institution located in Luxembourg Kirchberg, Sofitex Talent is currently looking for an :
Data Analyst
You will support the enhancement of data quality, consistency, and reliability across risk modelling and reporting activities by transforming and automating raw data received from external stakeholders into clean, auditable, and decision-ready datasets used as inputs for risk models, reports, and Power BI dashboards.
The role combines data science, governance, analytics, and quality assurance activities, with a strong focus on ensuring the consistent application of data-quality standards across stakeholders, supporting the testing and validation of AI-driven solutions, and improving historical datasets used in risk management processes. You will work closely with the European Commission, Implementing Partners (IPs), and risk and IT experts to strengthen the quality and integrity of data underpinning risk analysis, portfolio modelling, portfolio monitoring, and reporting.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Data Quality Governance and Oversight
- Drive the adoption and consistent application of agreed data-quality checklists across the European Commission and Implementing Partners.
- Monitor adherence to data-quality standards and identify areas requiring remediation or additional guidance.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to promote best practices in data quality management and data governance.
- Support the development of procedures, documentation, and automated controls aimed at strengthening data-quality frameworks.
AI-Enabled Data Quality Validation and Automation
- Test and validate AI agents developed to automate data-quality checks and data validation processes.
- Assess the effectiveness, accuracy, robustness, and consistency of AI-generated outputs against established business rules and quality standards.
- Document testing results, identify defects or improvement opportunities, and collaborate with technical teams to refine AI solutions.
- Contribute to the design of acceptance criteria and performance metrics for AI-enabled data-quality controls.
- Develop and maintain automated data-processing solutions to transform external data feeds (including Excel and XML files) into structured, validated, and auditable datasets ready for modelling and reporting purposes.
PROFIL
- University degree, preferably in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, IT, Information management, engineering, or another quantitative finance subject.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in data science, data analytics, data engineering, data governance, data cleansing, data quality management, data transformation, and related documentation activities.
- Exposure to AI validation or testing of AI-driven solutions would be considered an asset.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python is required. Experience with R, SAS, Power BI, XML processing, and advanced Excel would be considered an advantage.
- Familiarity with machine learning, generative AI tools, AI testing methodologies, or prompt-based validation techniques would be considered an advantage.
- Knowledge or exposure to large and complex datasets in a credit and financial risk management environment is an advantage.
- Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders and translating business requirements into data-related solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Excellent knowledge of English and/or French and a good command of the other. Knowledge of additional EU languages would be an advantage.
This is an opportunity for an initial contract of 2 months, with possible extensions afterwards.
Salary ranges between 5,850EUR and 7,350EUR gross per month, depending on experience.
