POSTE
For one of our clients, a European Institution located in Luxembourg Kirchberg, Sofitex Talent is currently looking for an: Finance Directorate - Operational Assistant (M/F)
Job Description: The Operational assistant will provide operational and administrative support across both the Financial Markets Documentation Unit (FIMA) and Non-Core Currencies & Special Transactions Division (NOCOST), ensuring continuity of activities during a period of increased workload and ongoing strategic initiatives.
Main Responsibilities:
- Executing standard and certain non-standard tasks related to capital markets and treasury processes to support the efficient and timely execution of FIMA and NOCOST operations and activities.
- Performing administrative tasks related to capital markets and treasury processes to maintain proper records, documentation and data quality, including the preparation and filing of documents and the maintenance of databases.
- Providing ad hoc support to FIMA and NOCOST to contribute to the smooth running of their daily operations, including processing and dispensation of invoices, as well as scheduling and organising internal meetings and business trips or missions.
PROFIL
Required experience:
- Relevant experience working for a credit institution, a supranational organisation, a law firm or another financial sector institution.
- 3 years of experience in a secretarial or operational position in a relevant field. At least 1 year in an operational position would be an advantage
Key technical/professional knowledge and skill:
- Good knowledge of the bank's relevant operational processes and procedures, as well as advanced use of standard office tools, in particular Excel and Word, and other related IT tools. Alternatively, similar skills and knowledge gained in another company or institution.
Required Qualification:
- Secondary level education, complemented with a 2-year certification in a relevant field (preferably economics, accounting, legal, business administration) or secondary level education with equally qualified experience in a relevant field.
Language Requirements:
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English.
The role requires strong alignment with the bank's core competencies:

This is an opportunity for an initial contract of 2 months, with possible extensions afterwards.
Salary ranges between 3,900EUR and 4,400EUR gross per month, depending on experience.
