POSTE
For one of our clients, a European Institution located in Luxembourg Kirchberg, Sofitex Talent is currently looking for a: Mandate Origination & Relationship Management Officer (M/F)
Purpose
- Support the development and launch of the next generation pan-EU scale-up initiative, aimed at fostering innovation and growth across European Union;
- Enhance stakeholder engagement and communication, ensuring alignment between internal teams and external partners;
- Lead and support market intelligence and financial analysis.
Responsibilities
- Together with the team, oversee deployment of late-stage venture capital programmes;
- Manage relationship with external stakeholders, including mandators, policymakers and private investors;
- Lead and/or coordinate activities with the relevant internal teams;
- Draft notes, presentations and briefings for governance bodies and external stakeholders to provide updates and/or promote the successor initiative;
- Support the preparation of legal documentation and related negotiation with internal and external stakeholders;
- Monitor the deployment of the ongoing initiative;
- Conduct relevant market and financial analysis.
PROFIL
Qualifications
- University degree (minimum an equivalent to a Bachelor) in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, Law or any related subject;
- Between 3 and 6 years of relevant professional experience in the financial sector, preferably in venture capital, private equity and/or banking;
- Any (or a combination) of the following would be an advantage:
- Prior experience in venture capital and/or private equity investment activities;
- Good knowledge of the European Union, its institutions and policy objectives;
- Prior experience in handling legal documents;
- Strong analytical and numerical skills (including financial modelling experience);
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, etc).
- Excellent knowledge of English. Knowledge of other EU languages would be an advantage.
Competencies
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, comfortable engaging with internal and external counterparties;
- Problem-solving mindset;
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
- Strong communication skills - both written and oral;
- High attention to details and accuracy in data analysis;
- Strong sense of ethics with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially;
- Ability to quickly acquire new skills and respond swiftly to new situations
This is an opportunity for an initial contract of 2 months, with possible extensions afterwards.
Salary ranges between 4500EUR and 5800EUR gross per month, depending on experience.
