Funds Valuation Officer
Permanent contract
The mission
Manage internal funds valuations activities linked mainly to the Dedicated Funds and Specialised Investment Funds business and bring support on assets reporting;
Main tasks
- Participate to the Dedicated Funds/Specialised Investment Funds month-end valuation process, including the set-up and classification of new instruments:
- value underlying investments (Bloomberg,..),
- investigate internal funds valuations variation
- investigate yield differences
- on an ad-hoc basis, perform a reconciliation with custodians valuations
- On an ad-hoc basis, monitor daily valuations failures, solve related issues and actively participate to the improvement of this process
- Handle clients requests in case of valuation questions and handle corrections if required
- Follow-up on IT development requests linked to your tasks as well as audit & risk requests
- Maintain relationships with custodian and external providers to ensure compliance with prevailing contracts and commitments.
- Participate to the production of regulatory assets reporting
- Together with the Investment manager, participate in the design of new controls and solutions. Raise development request for potential IT developments, propose process improvement requests and service
Profile
- A minimum of 2 years in a similar position
- Knowledge in investment vehicles and in the fund industry appreciated
- Experience in life insurance sector and/or funds valuations appreciated.
- Strong attention to details
- Fluent in French and good command in English
