For our department Engineering within
LuxairAirlines, we are looking for a (an):
Junior CAMO Engineer - Fixed-term contract of 2 years (m/f/x)
Main duties:
- Analyze
technical documentation (i.e. AD, SB, SL, etc.) arising in the assigned area of
responsibility, in accordance with internal procedures and under the
coordination of the CAMO Engineer (ATA Partner) assigned to the specific area
of responsibility.
- Support
the airworthiness management and fleet reliability improvement plan in
collaboration with the Reliability & Scheduling service;
- Provide
support to MRO's during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance events, in the
area of responsibility;
- Provide
support in projects related to the assigned area of responsibility (example,
but not limited to: Phase-in/-out activities, Aging aircraft programs,
Reliability driven campaigns etc.);
- As
required: Support with the review of sourcing options, specifications
development, requirements definition and allocation, and traceability
requirements.
- Represent
Luxair in a professional way, defend Luxair interests in the scope of the
activity and in accordance with current internal rules in force;
- Take
active part in the continuous improvement process within Luxair Technics and
keep a high level of technical awareness within the assigned area of responsibility;
- Provide
hands-on support to other CAMO functions, as and when required.
All the above
duties and responsibilities shall be acted upon in compliance with existing
safety and security regulations and in accordance with established rules and procedures.
Required profile:
Minimum required criteria:
- Be holder of
a bachelor degree “BAC & 3” (or equivalent) in a relevant field of study
and recognized by the Ministry of National Education; or have relevant related
experience in the area of responsibility;
- Relevant experience in an aeronautical
or connected environments;
- Show self-organizational skills
- Possess appropriate presentation,
communication and adaptation skills
- Accept Duty Travel;
- Be a proficient user of standard
Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent command of the English
language as well as skills in French or German (spoken and written);
Desired or to be acquired criteria:
- Refer to the training file
(incl T536 assessments)
- Achieve a good knowledge of the internal processes of Technics;
- Demonstrate the ability to collect and analyze complex
technical data (i.e. reliability analysis);
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate at all levels, both
inside and outside the company;
- Be result oriented and able to work independently, as well
as in a team;
- Have a good understanding of cost efficiency and
cost-benefit analysis;
- Efficiently apply the relevant procedures related to the
function;
- Attend and pass successfully the required mandatory
trainings according the area of activity;
- Demonstrate appropriate user skills in the IT tools used
within the department (i.e. AMOS, Netline, etc.);
- Have a fair understanding of Risk Management within a CAMO
environment;
