For one of our clients, we are recruiting an Accountant to join a multicultural and international environment in Luxembourg.
Role & Responsibilities
- Daily accounting of Luxembourg SPVs, including monthly and quarterly closings when required
- Assisting with the preparation of Luxembourg statutory accounts
- Supporting annual closing and regulatory reporting to the authorities
- Assisting with VAT returns and annual tax declarations for Luxembourg SPVs
- Cash, bank and intercompany reconciliations
- Monitoring SPV bank accounts and Borrower Debt Service Accounts
- Invoice monitoring and management
- Preparation of payments and intercompany recharges
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly interest statements for borrowers
- Ad hoc accounting and administrative tasks
Profile Required
- Degree in Accounting or a related field
- 2–3 years of experience in Luxembourg within an administration company or in-house environment
- Experience with SPVs and Holding structures
- Strong knowledge of Lux GAAP
- Debt investment exposure is a plus
- Real Estate accounting experience is an advantage
- Fluent in English (additional languages are an asset)
- Comfortable with accounting software (eFront is a plus) and strong Excel skills
- Ability to integrate easily into a team, autonomous and reliable
Salary & Benefits
- Gross annual salary: between €50,000 and €60,000
